Nigeria: Say No To Cultism, Drug Abuse – Kanwan Katsina Charges Students

The Kanwan Katsina District Head of Ketare, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara has called on students to concentrate on their studies as leaders of tomorrow.
Alhaji Usman Bello was speaking when the newly elected officials of National Association of Katsina State Students, Kaduna Polytechnics Chapter paid him a courtesy visit in his palace.
He advised the newly elected officials to desist from any act that could tarnish their image and studies such as drug abuse, cultism and other forms of social vices.

The Kanwan Katsina who said he is always delighted to see students are engaged in unionism recalled that he was the secretary general of Kaduna State Students union during his days in Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in -1980.
While thanking them for the visit, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara charged them to always remain focus on their studies and avoid keeping bad company at all times

Earlier in his address, the newly elected president of the National Association of Katsina State Students, Kaduna Polytechnic Chapter, Comrade Ahmed Abdullahi Saulawa said they were at the palace of the monarch to pay homage and introduce themselves as the newly elected officials of the Association.

Comrade Ahmed Saulawa describes the Kanwan Katsina as the father who has been supporting and attending the associations programs at all times.
He informed the traditional ruler that the association was planning to organize the annual Katsina Day early next year which he would be invited as the royal father of the day.

The student leader commended the District Head for bringing development in all ramifications to the people of his communities in the areas of education, ICT, road, health, agriculture, and other social amenities.
