She informed the Corporation of plans by the Advocacy group to carry the media along including capacity training of Journalists on the advocacy.

She stated that although the present Administration in the State, was passionate in e-learning, but unfortunately, there was no policy document.

Also speaking, FHANI Communication Officer, Hauwa Saulawa noted that the Advocacy Group and media are partners in progress which therefore stresses the need for both to work together.

E-learning, She said, was very crucial , though, it was not new in Kaduna State, haven gone down the memory lane of programmes such as “Hausa by Radio or others produced by the National Education Technology Center.

She observed that so far there was no policy to guide e- learning, a situation that calls for synergy by the group and the media to work towards making government to buy into the project.

” If government can buy in and make a law it would serve better” She said.

At Vision Radio, FHANI Chairman, Alhaji Bala Mohammad Tijjani, Bunnun Zazzau gave an overview of the Advocacy Working Group’s operations which cover family planning on Child Birth Spacing, especially for the health of the mother and by extension the economic welbeing of the family.

Through FHANI, he said, the Kaduna State Government had created additional budget line for family planning as well as the provision of commodities and consumables.

He told the host that the current Advocacy project under Rise Up which is e-learning being implemented by FHANI falls within its contents as it has to do with child education that thus promotes the family .
He said it was worrisome that a great number of students are out of school due to insecurity, a situation that necessitated the advocacy for e- learning to enable them continue even when they are out of classroom.

The Bunnun Zazzau observed that though the present Administration in the State was passionate about e- learning, but there is no policy document, hence the need for the media to collaborate with FHANI to convince the government to key into the policy.
