Capacity Building training of project team on E- learning platforms and advocacy Ask for the Formulation and Adoption of e-learning Policy in public secondary schools in Kaduna State has been held.
The Advocacy team was drawn from the Family Health Advocates in Nigeria Initiative, FHANI which is implementing the project under the Rise Up, funded by the Public Health Institute, Oakland California, USA.

In a presentation, the Rise Up Nigeria Fellow 3 2022 Cohort (FHANI), Grace Yila Maikano said the conventional method of chalk and board style of learning imparted on the students has been revolutionalised.
Grace Maikano who gave an overview of E-learning platforms to include internet, audio, video, e-books, CDs and webinar, further enumerated the importance of the system which was introduced to empower learners to get basic schooling and enhanced skills.
Evaluating the system to be cost effective compare to traditional method, Grace Maikano maintained that all students can receive the same type of syllabus , study materials and train consistently.
She explained that e-learning makes students to learn at their comfort, enhances education during emergencies and accessing study materials unlimited times.
She stated that the system has also become an important tool for tutors and students around the world to share information and skills.
FHANI Communications Officer and member of the team, Hajia Hauwa Saulawa, in her vote of thanks, lauded the presentations by the Rise Up Fellow, Grace Maikano, describing it as an eye opener for the participants.
