NUJ Plateau Council Distances Self From Myrole Aid Mission Event …Alerts Public To Be Wary

Date:

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Plateau State Council has distanced itself from a purported collaboration between the Union and Myrole Aid Mission to organise an event tagged; “2023 AND THE QUEST FOR A BETTER PLATEAU STATE”.

A statement by the Council’s Secretary, Peter Amine says the Council wants to make it abundantly clear that the union is unaware of the said collaboration.

“The NUJ wishes to state that the Union is not in any way connected to the said programme and advises those dealing with Myrole Aid Mission to take note.

“The Union warns Myrole Aid Mission against using the Union’s name including that of one its Chapel without due consent. There will be consequences for any further usage of the Union’s name without permission”, the statement concludes.
