Humanitarian: City to City Encounter With God Mission Donates To Widows In Kaduna

 

 

At least, 26 widows and a widower were on Sunday 25, September 2022 presented with cash gifts by the religious organization, City to City Encounter With God Mission in Kaduna , North West Nigeria.

The gesture was part of activities which featured a 2-day Humanitarian and Word Expository Programme with a theme “Glorious Celebration Of Christ Victory, jointly organised by the mission and the Christian Evangelical Fellowship of Nigeria, CEFN, church Kaduna.

Although the amount of the cash gift to the beneficiaries, was not mentioned, the CEFN Zonal Pastor who is also the host and Kaduna Coordinator of City to City, Rev. Emmanuel Abuh said the ” token” be considered valuable inview of the prevailing economic hardship in the country.
Rev Abuh re-emphasized that the gift no matter how little, would assist in cushioning a need of the beneficiaries in the pursuit of their livelihood.

Responding on behalf of the widows, Mrs Mercy Paul Aliyu thanked the Mission for the benevolence and asked God to continue to strengthen the religious organization to sustain the humanitarian services and spread of the Gospel of Christ.

Ministering, One of the speakers , Pastor Jude Odiba from Zaria charged the congregation not to be discouraged in whatever situation they found themselves, but to put their hope in God as long as they believe in Him.
“Don’t allow any problem to hinder you from prayer which is key.
“The victory that God gives to His children is enough to conquer whatever challenges that come your way.
“Whatever the prevailing situation, shouldn’t stop you from knowing your God.
“Your pride and boast is in God.
Whoever is born of God over cometh the world”, he assured.

City to City Encounter With God Mission is a religious organization whose activities mostly anchored on Matthew 9: 35.
