The National body of Berom Youth Moulders-Association-BYM
has Congratulated Elder Statesman and former Governor of Plateau State, Da Jonah David Jang over his acquittal by Justice Christy Dabup on corruption charges levelled against him by the EFCC.
A statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the Association, Rwang Tengwong said news of his acquittal is a cheering one that makes glad every heart that love justice.
“This also posts a message to the past and present leaderships of Plateau state to unite and provide mentorship to the upcoming leaders.
“The wide jubilation that greeted communities across the State and social media platforms is an evidence that the judgement is victory for all. We urge you to put behind this ordeal, and continue contributing your quota for a better Plateau and Nigeria at large.
“Despite bowing out of office over 7 years ago, your track record of achievements are still loud and visible across the entire State.
“We are also elated to appreciate on one of our great son of the Berom Nation in person of Hon. Edward Pwajok, SAN for the admirable legal representation that brought about your vindication by the High Court of Justice in the State.
“We equally acknowledge for your great sacrifices for development of the Berom nation and its environs. We pray that God will immeasurably reward your gigantic work not only in the land, but also in the State and Nation at large.
“Together we will move Plateau State forward.”
