Nigeria 2023: It ‘ll Be Tragic If APC Returns To Power – Ulasi

Date:

A political Analyst, Chief Dan Ulasi has said that re electing the ruling party, APC come 2023 general elections by Nigerians would amount “celebrating failure”.

Speaking on a Tv program on Thursday, Ulasi said the present administration was not only showing arrogance of failure but standing aloof watching Nigerians being killed.

He noted that President Muhammad Buhari who came to power in 2015, because of his attributes including integrity value now seemed
contrary.

While seeing the 3 Frontline Presidential Candidates as qualified under the country’s constitution, Chief Ulasi, a former Party Chairman for Anambra State, however positively commented on Atiku Abubakar.

“Atiku, is excellently qualified, a nationalist and already an accepted name in Ibo land, while Tinubu as a person is good but the party”.

The Analyst who went down the memory lane on how Ibos have been stopped becoming President from 1979, said the present situation does not also favour Peter Obi despite the fact that the region had been helping others to occupy the position.

On PDP crises, Chief Ulasi frowned on the recent reconciliatory meeting held in London instead of Nigeria, considering the financial commitment.
He also took a swipe on the PDP National Chairman and others for inflammatory statements that are against dousing tensions within the party.

According to him, apology from the national Chairman and direct approach by the party’s Presidential Candidate and his Vice to Governor Wike, would have resolved the face- off.
