President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia has on behalf of the government and people expressed deepest sorrow and sadness at the untimely death of the Senior Chief Musele who was Saturday laid to rest in Kalumbila.
Speaking at the funeral, President Hichilema stated that the late Royal Highness died at a time he had accelerated his development agenda for the people of his Chiefdom and the rest of the Zambian people.
” The death has broad implications because Senior Chief Musele had a deep passion in serving not only his subjects but all Zambians in all areas including matters of the environment.
“We advised the Royal Establishment to ensure that there should be no dispute in the succession process by strictly following the family tree. We further implored them that, that would be the only way the development agenda left by the late Royal Highness would not be interrupted.
“We urged the people to mourn the late Senior Chief with utmost love and respect by ensuring they are peaceful and orderly in all they do”.
