Greenfield has turned over the playing pitch at the SKD Sports Complex to authorities of the Youth and Sports Ministry after completing the laying of artificial turf.
Greenfield Project Manager Franclin Ngabe turning over the pitch hailed Liberia for giving the company the opportunity to lay turf at the national stadium.
He however urged Liberians to do their best in maintaining the turf by following all the measures in place to maintain the pitch.
Responding, was Youth Sports Zeogar Wilson who commended President George Weah for ensuring that funding was made available for the rehabilitation of the SKD Sports Complex.
This means, the SKD Sports complex which has also have bucket seats installed could be fully prepared to host international football matches.
The rehabilitation of the SKD Sports Complex was fully sponsored by government after FIFA banned the stadium last year.
A Caf and FIFA stadium inspector was last week in the country inspecting new development at the SKD Sports Complex.
