Zambia Holds International Trade Fair With Over 800 Exhibitors

More than 800 local and international Exhibitors from various sectors of the economy are participating in this year’s Zambian International Trade Fair

With the theme ” Promoting Value Addition For Sustainable Growth, the Fair is being held in Ndolla on the Copperbelt

Speaking at the Fair, President Hakainde Hichilema who is also the Patron of the Fair, commended the organisers for chosen the appropriate theme for the event adding that Zambia is back and opened for business.

“We officiated at this year’s 56th Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Ndola on the Copperbelt whose theme is “Promoting Value Addition for Sustainable Growth”.

“The ZITF is the biggest trade exhibition in Zambia and has this year seen more than 800 local and international exhibitors from various sectors of our economy.

“As patron for the ZITF, we thank the organisers for the appropriate theme that perfectly resonates with our economic transformation agenda of value addition focusing on processing our local products into finished goods which will create more jobs.

“Copperbelt is particularly special for us as it houses the material that will feed our batteries for electric motor vehicles following the MOU we signed with DRC.

”We shall continue exploring ways of improving the business environment especially the cost of doing business.

“Zambia is back and open for business,”
