Liberia: Motorcyclist Blinded From Acid Attack By Friends Gets Justice, But Visually Impaired For Live

A 21-year old motorcyclist, Isaac Stubblefield who gone blind from the acid dropped in his eyes by friends and snatched his motorbike in Gbanga City, central Liberia, has gotten justice.

According to Women’s TV Liberia, the two youngsters who perpetrated the act were later arrested by the Police in Ganta, Nimba County while making arrangements to sell the motorbike to escape.

The perpetrators were charged to Court in Gbarnga on Monday and sentenced to 25years each in prison.

The 21yrs old will now live the rest of his life visually impaired as the acid has sealed his eyes entirely.

AFRICA PRIME NEWS reports that motorcycle transportation is one of the major sources of incomes for several young Liberians as it is being
used for commercial purposes throughout the country.
