The Elections Committee of the Liberia Kickball Federation has released the names of qualified candidates for this month’s LKF Elections.
According to LNTV Liberia Live, LKF Election Committee in a statement Wednesday said all the qualified candidates will be contesting on white ballot, as they received just a candidate for each position.
This means, incumbent President Emmanuel Suprise Whea will re-contest the LKF Presidency without a challenger, after Ammie Wesseh who declared her ambition to challenge for the LKF top seat failed to register.
Also, incumbent vice president for administration, Solomon Ward will seek another four years tenure on white ballot
Veteran Kickball Coach Emmanuel Mark, popularly known as Coach Arab is contesting in the LKF election for the first time, as he’s the only candidate cleared to vie for the Vice President for Operations.
Current Assistant Secretary Abu Fofana will contest on white ballot for the Secretary General to replace LKF longest serving Secretary General Melton Padmore.
Manjustu Kulee, a former kickball referee and coach is seeking the Assistant Secretary General position without a challenger.
Madam Janneh Blamah will be the lone candidate for the Treasurer position.
Stakeholders of the Liberia Kickball Federation will go to elective congress on 11 June to elect new leadership team.
