A Presidential Aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi has said that Nigeria has all it takes to be a great nation but lacks leadership.
“All we do now is to share oil money and throw people into poverty and Other difficulties including
unemployment, insecurity as well as hunger.

The Presidential Aspirant made the assertion in Kaduna Monday while addressing delegates to the forthcoming Primaries scheduled to hold in Abuja at the of this month.

According to him “I want to turn Nigeria from Consuming to a producing country. When you pull people out of poverty, criminality will reduce” Obi said.

He noted with dismay that cumulative leadership failure of bad leaders over the years had resulted to “our misfortunes.
“Nigeria has thrown her people into poverty than any other country. We have more poor people in the world with India and China combined. We have to do something or else, things will go worse” he cautioned.

Obi who spoke at length on insecurity said it was no more safe to travel to any part of the country, especially Kaduna where even airlines are declining to fly to.
“With over 80% farming population, farmers in Kaduna could no longer go to farm because of insecurity, he noted.

Armed with his experience as a self made business man and an alumni of Cambridge and Oxford universities as well as London Business School, if elected, he will rescue Nigeria from collapsing.
