Kano State Deputy Governor Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has felicitated with the Muslims in the State on the occasion of the Eid-el-fitr which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting.

According to him…”As we complete the Ramadan fast, we should ensure the sustainance of its virtues beyond the celebration therefore I enjoined the Muslims to continue to dedicate themselves to injunctions of the Holy Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).”

I urge Muslims not to let go of the lessons of piety, justice and peaceful-coexistence which the month of Ramadan taught us, but to extend and replicate it in our daily living and also continue to pray for the unity and great progression of our dear State and country.

I also want to specially express my appreciation to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for the laudable policies and programmes initiated by his administration to transform and develop Kano to a higher level which today makes it one of the most peaceful States in the country.

I am using this period to thank Kano people for their prayers to the Government of Kano State led by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, the achievements recorded were made with your unflinching support and cooperation.

Once again,Congratulations to all Muslims for successfully undertaking the Ramadan fasting. May Allah accepts our supplications and good deeds. Happy Eid-el-Fitr.
