As Muslims around the world gear
towards the climax of the holy month of Ramadan, District #4 Montserrado County Representative Candidate, Michael Thomas identifies with several mosques across the district.
Speaking at the central mosque within the district at the Du-Port Road Market in Paynesville City where he commenced the distribution of at least seventy five bags of rice, twenty-five gallons of oil, three hundred and fifty sacks of mineral water amongst others, Michael Thomas asserted that fast and prayers are cardinal pillars in the Islamic religion like other religions, as such it is significant to identify with the Islamic community during this period.
He added that the distribution exercise will be carried out at every mosques within the district portraying the message that thou he hailed from different religion but all other religions are counted for within the district as a religious tolerant leader ensuring to unseat the incumbent lawmaker of the district.
When asked about the quantity worth of the items in cash, Atty. Michael Thomas did not quantify, but indicated that he was highly led by the spirit to identify with the Islamic community as he has done for other churches within the district.
He at the same time urged Muslims across the district and Liberia at large to keep the country’s growth and development in their prayers.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Du-Port Road Central Mosque on Tuesday, Morris Kromah lauded Atty. Michael Thomas for such a huge donation and wished him success in his endeavours.
