Nigeria: NULGE, PSAN Congratulate  NUJ Kaduna, Declare Support For Asma’u Led EXCO

Chairman Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, (NULGE) Rayanu Turunku, and his counterpart, in the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria, (PSAN) Abdulraheed Abarshi, have congratulated Asma’u Halilu, the new Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna Council.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Council Monday, the PSAN Chairman, Alhaji Abarshi commended the Council members for doggedly supporting her to victory.
He said NUJ has been a long time partner and have been supportive in the struggle of Labour matters.
On his part, the NULGE Chairman Alhaji Turunku, also drummed up support for the new Council Chairman; stressing that the local government employees will not relent in supporting the Union under the leadership of Asma’u Halilu.
Responding, the new Council Chairman, Asma’u Halilu, expressed gratitude to God Almighty thanking members of the Council and the visiting Unions for finding time to visit the council.
Halilu maintained that she and her team will ensure open door policy and will always support the cause of the Nigerian workers.
