Member representing Albasu Gaya and Ajingi Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya has visited and congratulated the new Emir of Gaya Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir on ascending the throne of the emirate.
The Federal Lawmaker’s congratulatory visit to the new emir’s residence was on Sunday where he stressed the need for the traditional ruler to consolidate on the solid foundation laid by his predecessor.
Hon. Mahmud Gaya further said as Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir basks in the glory of the moment, he should remain peoples’ emir and leader to all and treat all subjects fairly in the course of discharging his duties, adding that this should be his first step to unite all members of the ruling House for the interest of the entire people of the emirate.
He added that the State government, kingmakers and people of the Emirate are confident that His Highness, the New Emir of Gaya Emirate would consolidate on the solid foundation put in place by his predecessor, late Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulqadir Kirmau Mai Gabas.
Hon Abdullahi Mahmud Allah, and remain a Emir to all and prayed to Allah the Almighty to provide the new Emir with wisdom and guidance in the discharge of this responsibility.
