The National Judicial Council has recommended Thirty-eight (38) of its officers to their respective State Governors for appointment as Heads of Courts and other Judicial Officers in Nigeria
The decision was taken at the Council’s 95th Meeting held on 15th & 16th September 2021, when it considered the list of successful candidates presented to it by its Interview Committee.
A statement by the NJC’s Director on Information, Soji Oye, Esq, says the recommended candidates will be sworn-in after approval by President Muhammadu Buhari “and their respective State Governors and confirmation by the respective State House of Assembly.”

The National Judicial Council at its 95th Meeting of 15 & 16 September 2021, considered the list of candidates presented by its Interview Committee and resolved to recommend the under-listed names of Thirty-eight (38) successful candidates to their respective State Governors for appointment as Heads of Courts and other Judicial Officers in Nigeria.
