Representative Manna Bishop Joseph has dismissed public claim over his death, saying he is well and stable in medical condition.
It can be recalled that fake news has been circulating in the public of the Lawmaker’s death mostly in Bomi County in recent weeks following another report that he was ill.
But in an interview with reporters over the weekend, the Bomi County District #2 Representative clarified that the information is false and misleading.
He further indicated that the clarification was necessitated by the barrage of phone calls he continued to receive from families, friends and citizens to authenticate the information which he described as unfounded.
Rep. Johnson stated that the fake news is being spewed by some unscrupulous individuals who do not want to see the progress of his people and District.
He is at the same time calling on members of the public, particularly citizens of Bomi County District #2 not give attention to anyone carrying such unfortunate news.
The Bomi County Lawmaker furthered that it was quite wicked and unfortunate for someone to celebrate the death of another person.
Meanwhile, Rep. Johnson disclosed that authorities have launched a thorough investigation into the matter, and that anyone found culpable would face the weight of the law.
