Kano: Strive To Maintain Ethics & Decorum — Perm Sec.Tells Civil Servants

 

Staff of the Kano State Civil service Commission have been asked  to continue to maintain ethics and  decorum in discharging their duties

The out going permanent secretary of the  Commission, Alh. Salisu M Gabasawa made the plea while handing over the affairs of the office to his successor, Engr. Mohammad Adamu Musa who was posted from the  Due Process Bureau.

Gabasawa noted with delight, the support and cooperation accorded to him by the management and staff of the commission which resulted in many laudable achievements and urged them to extend the same gesture to the new permanent secretary  for the overall improvement  of civil service commission.

“You may recall that, Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has recently approved the redeployment of some permanent secretary in the state with a view to reinvigorating and rejuvenating  the service for better out put, Salisu Gabasawa is now posted to the ministry of Rural and Social Development as a permanent secretary”, he said.

The New permanent secretary of the commission Engr. Mohammad Adamu Musa, expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and pledged to carry everybody on board for speedy development in the sector.

Engr Adamu solicited the support of all and sundry to join hands together to consolidate the gain so far recorded, and wish the out going permanent secretary a huge success in his new assignment place.

Ealier in his address, the chairman of the commission Engr. Bello Mohammad Kiru welcome the new permanent secretary to the commission and highlighted some of the bottle necks bedevilling the smooth running of the commission and urged the new Permanent Secretary to explore ways of addressing them as a challenge.

He commended both the out-going and in-coming Permanent Secretaries for their good records of service and proven integrity which is worthy of emulation and pledged to continue to give all the necessary support to the Permanent Secretary to succeed in the discharge of his duty.
