*IToothPro Fingered for Fraudulent Tendencies, Ignore Customers’ Complaints

Date:

A new tooth device, “that Helps You Remove Dental Plaque, Calculus & Hard Tartar Easily From Teeth, While Preventing Gum Disease”, has been accused of exhibiting fraudulent tendencies in their dealings with customers.

The product on its e-marketing websites and social media handles has posted ads videos where the device appeared to be cleaning teeth with a dental plaque with ease.

But customers who are usually lured by the videos and photos display on the social media handles to obtain the product usually regrets after buying the device.

Pius Aroboinosen, a customer who obtained the product at the rate of N16,000 described it as “fake and useless product. I regret wasting my N16,000 one”, he posted on the company’s Facebook page which was later deleted.

Another customer, Mohammed Salisu who said he was motivated by the videos to obtain the device also regretted “wasting my N15,000.”

“And what is more painful is that after complaining to them that some customers including myself are expressing some disenchantment with the product the guy who picked the call promised to revert, but he subsequently ignored my calls and refused to listen to my complain again.

Salisu said the e-business site has a bad reputation for handling customers’ complaints, arguing that “when you write a complaint about their product on Facebook, they block you instantly and they don’t listen to you again”, he said.

Efforts to get a response from the e-marketing website were unsuccessful, as calls put to their known mobile number were not responded to as at press time.
