COVID-19: NLC Lauds Kaduna Govt. Efforts At Curtailing Spread

Nigeria Labour Congress Kaduna State Council has commended the efforts taken by the state government to curtail the spread of second phase of Covid 19 in the state.

The council also advised civil servants in the state to adhere strictly with the directive given by the government to work from home as part of efforts to reduce the spread of coronavirus in the state.

The Chairperson of the Congress Comrade Ayuba Magaji Suleiman made the appeal in a press release made available to newsmen in Kaduna.

The statement also appeals to people of the state particularly workers to remain indoors and avoid going out unnecessary
and use facemasks and observe all Covid 19 protocols.

“Observe physical distancing, respiratory hygiene, wash hands with soap under running water and or using hand
sanitizers and avoid large gatherings and crowded spaces” he said.

It also advises workers to always provide running water and soap for their visitors as part of efforts to curtail the spread of the virus.

In another development, the Nigeria Labour Congress Kaduna State Council wishes all christians in the state happy Christmas in advance.

Chairperson of the Congress Comrade Ayuba Magaji Suleiman advised them to use the period for sober reflection and provide to the needy during the period.

NLC Kaduna Council also wishes all people of the state happy new year in advance and pray for good health, peace, unity and security for the state and the country in general.
