A member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Nuhu Goroh Shadalafiya has recovered from COVID-19 and thanked his constituents and other Nigerians for their prayers.
In a statement after his discharge from an Isolation centre, haven tested negative, the Lawmaker also thanked the medical team and the State Governor for their commitment to curtailing the pandemic.
The Statement reads:-
My dear people of Kagarko Constituency, I bring you greetings and good tidings of love and appreciation for your steadfast and fervent prayers ,when I tested positive for Covid-19 to this point of recovery .
On Sat 26th July,2020, my second sample was taken for test and the result came out today, Wednesday 29th and it was negative.
The team of medical officials at Centre gave me a clean mark to be discharge.
In the of the above, I want to thank the Almighty God for preserving me and my wife ,who was by me all through and tested negative twice to Him be the Glory.
To the team of medical personnel , I remain indebted to you for your time to each details and commitment to deal with Covid-19 ,God will reward your labour of love to humanity.
Let me state here, that His Excellency the Governor is a leader and Father that all can hold and trust, you gave all you have to fight this virus, leadership, funds, guidance and direction and we see results of people in being healed, May God bless and keep you for putting smile on faces of several families .
Let me also thank the Leadership of the State House of Assembly under Rt. Hon. Speaker Yusuf Zailani and my Honourable colleagues, management and staff of the Assembly, I urge you all to unite for progress and development of the State .
Let me use this medium to congratulate the Muslim faithfuls and wish them Barka da Sallah as well as encourage us all to observe the state Covid-19 protocol for a hitch free celebration.
Let me also appreciate my Wife for the sacrifice to stay in isolation centre with me , all the Goroh family ,our spiritual Fathers and leaders for their prayers and support.
The media remain the hope of the voiceless ,keep educating and enlightening the public on the dangers and need to observe social distancing, washing of hands with soap and water, wearing of face masks and use of hand sanitizers.
Today I’m out of the Isolation center and will look forward to town hall meeting with my Constituency on how to keep our people free and safe of this dreaded Virus and many other developmental issues.
