COVID-19: Kaduna Lawmaker Tests Positive

Member representing Kagarko Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Nuhu Goro Shadalafiya has tested positive to COVID-19.

Consequently, the Lawmaker has been moved to an Isolation centre where he is receiving treatment.

A statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday, said he was in stable condition.

The Lawmaker, according to the Statement, invited NCDC to come for COVID-19 test on his request to take his sample, the wife , Aide, and a brother which the result came out on Sunday 19th July.

The result of others, the Lawmaker said, were negative except his’ which was positive.

“I was immediately moved to the COVID-19 isolation center, where I am presently receiving treatment. I’m stable and on medication.

“I have responsibilities as your elected representative to inform and urge you all to please obey the protocol on COVID-19 protection measures by observing social distancing, wear face marks, washing of hands regularly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer or stay home if you have no reason to go out and stay safe.

“Let’s support His Excellency efforts in this direction and we have a hitch free Corona Sallah celebration” he said.

He urged Nigerians to pray for him and others at centre for speedy recovery.
