By Mohammed Ibrahim

The Coalition of Northern Youths in Nigeria has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to replace the service chiefs because they have failed to protect the lives of the people.

Comrade Mukhtar Muhammad who is the group’s National Coordinator made the call in an interview with news men in Kaduna.

He said northerners were disturbed and worried with the rising deaths and destruction happenings in the region.

Muktar commended the Senate President Ahmad Lawan for equally informing President Muhammadu Buhari to sack any security chief that failed to do the right thing in protecting the lives and properties of Nigerian citizens.

“Being a leader of the Senate he did what’s right by appealing to Buhari to sack any service Chief found wanting, therefore as youths, we support him fully,” he said

The youths leader called on Nigerians to wake up and pray to almighty God to protect the country, especially the Northern region from insecurity.
