Borno IDPs: Zulum Meets Humanitarian Minister in Abuja

Borno Governor, Northeast Nigeria,  Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum on Tuesday met the minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk in Abuja.
Zulum, in company of his Special Adviser and Coordinator, Sustainable Development, Partnerships and Humanitarian Support, was at headquarters of the Ministry in the Federal secretariat.
Reports say discussions, held behind closed doors, focused on humanitarian needs in Borno and how internally displaced persons can be supported to start some economic activities that will enable them rely on themselves for livelihoods.
