The Chief Judge of Kano State, Justice Nura Sagir Umar has inaugurated mobile courts that will try offenders of lockdown imposed on the state due to COVID -19 crisis.
“The Mobile Courts are to try cases of defaulters during the lock down period and any other issues that may arise in consequence thereof so as to curtailing the spread of Coronavirus,” says a statement made available to journalists the State Judiciary, Public Relations Officer, Baba Jibo Ibrahim on Monday.
The courts will be headed by Magistrates in the state, among them, “Mohammed M. Jibrin, Auwalu Y. Suleiman, Mustapha Hassan, Sadiku Sammani, Aminu Muhd Gabari.
“Others are: Tijjani Sale Minjibir, Salisu Idris Sallama, Musa Ibrahim Umar, Ishaq Abdu Aboki, Farouk Ibrahim Umar and Ibrahim Gwadabe.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Saturday announced the establishment of the mobile courts to try violators of the lock down order in place in the state.
