Nigeria: Zulum Briefs Buhari Over Borno’s Fight Against Boko Haram, Recovery

Borno Governor, Northeast of the country, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum was at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday for one-on-one meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
During the closed door meeting, Governor Zulum briefed the President on state of affairs in Borno state.
Information from the Governor’s media team, said the meeting focused on Borno’s fight against boko haram towards peace building, rebuilding, resettlement of displaced persons and economic recovery.
Reports say Zulum left Maiduguri on Thursday through a special flight arrangement that falls in line with presidential directives over the Covid-19 lockdown of Abuja in which movements over critical matters are exempted from the restrictions.
