Easter: Group Donates Food Items To Widows, Orphans In Kaduna, Northern Nigeria

A group, All Nigerian Youth Project 2023 has distributed some food items to widows and orphans of christian faith in Sabon-tasha Southern part of Kaduna, the state capital 
The gesture , according to the National Chairman of the Organisation, Dr Suleiman Shuaibu Shinkafi, is to assist the benefficiaries who are about to end  the 4o- day Lenten fasting and prayers to celebrate the Easter “with joy and happiness”.
Dr. Shinkafi said the gesture would also promote and strenghten the relationship among followers of the two main religions, Islam and Christianity.
 
The Chairman who disclosed that the donation to widows at the Christ Evangelical and Life Intervention Ministry, would also be extended  to other churches, enjoined wealthy individuals to equally support the widows and orphans with relief materials.
 
Dr Shinkafi  called on Christians all over the world to use to the Easter period to pray Almighty God to end the Coronavirus Pandemic.
 
Receiving the donation on behalf of the beneficiaries,  General Overseer of the Church , Pastor Yohana Buru thanked the Group for chosing the church
He said remembering the needy at a season like this will surely be blessed by God 
“There is a big blessing for helping the poor widows and orphans”, he remarks.
Also ,an  interfaith specialist, Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani made similar donations.
Ramatu known for her humanitarians services said, she choses to share her food stuff to the needy so as to enable celebrate the Easter at home with their families.
 
Ramatu spoke on Corona-virus which she noted has caused so many set-backs  in all aspects of human lives and called on Christians all over the world to use the occasion to pray for God’s intervention .
 
While wishing them a happy Easter, she  called for peace, tolerance and better understanding among different faith base organizations.
