Arewa Youths Vanguard has urged Nigerians to adhere to the preventive measures and guidelines issued by the Nigeria Center for
Disease Control to guard against the spread of coronavirus in the country.
President of the Association, Comrade Muhammad Kabir Uthman gave the advise in a release made available to newsmen in Kaduna by the Director, Media and Publicity of the Association, Comrade Abdullahi Yakawada.
Comrade Muhammad Kabir Uthman who underscored the need to stick to advices by government and medical practitioners, also solicited for support and solidarity to health workers so that they could effectively contain the pandemic.
The President of the Association expressed gratitude to the Federal Government as well as individuals and corporate bodies for the palliatives and cash donations respectively to contain the virus.
Comrade Muhammad Kabir Uthman however urged the government to ensure that it monitors the distribution process for transparency and accountability.
Secretary-General of the Association, Comrade Sani Ishaq in the release, also expressed the hope of overcoming the trial period, and urged the people to renew their faith in God.
