Covid-19: NUJ Wishes Gov. El-rufai, Others Speedy Recovery

Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kaduna State Council has joined other well meaning Nigerians to wish Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-rufai a speedy recovery of Coronavirus to continue to steer ship of the state.
It also idetinfies with other Nigerians that are tested positive of the pandemic.
A statement by the Chairman of the Council, Comrade Adamu Yusuf specifically acknowledged the urban renewal and other projects being undertaken by the El-rufa’i led Administration.
“Our hearts are with the Governor and other Nigerians that are tested positive.
“Since the outbreak of the virus, the governor has exhibited high level of leadership acumen and commitment. He was up and down to ensure that the state is safe.
“We are optimistic that His Excellency will triumph at the end because he had kept faith with the people at the hour of need.
“The Council appeals to the Acting Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe to speed the distribution of food items and other palliatives to the less privileged as well as the vulnerable ones as promised to cushion the effect of stay at home.
“We also want to use this medium to appeal to wealthy individuals, corporate bodies and philanthropists to contribute both in cash and kind to assist the less privileged.
“To our Members, use sanitizer, wear face mask, maintain distances and work at home if possible”‘ the statement concludes.
