Insecurity: Act Now To Save Nigeria – Rev. Utaji Tells FG.

Date:

Hundreds of Christians from various Churches in Abejukolo, headquarters of Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State, on Sunday staged a prayer walk to round up the 3-day Special prayer and fasting, declared by the Christian Association of Nigeria , CAN.
CAN’s  declaration was to tell government to take decisive action to stop the killings of innocent Nigerians to preserve the country’s corporate existence.
Armed with songs of praise , the procession which took off from St. Mary Catholic Cathedral, Abejukolo was led by the Assistant Coordinator of CAN Omala LG  , Rev Phillip Utaji and walked through major streets in the town.
Speaking with AFRICA PRIME NEWS , Rev. Phillip Utaji said it is the responsibility of any  government to safe guard the lives of the people , but that , looks contrary in Nigeria.
Government, the Reverend noted , seems to be helpless in the present situation , hence the prayer calling for God’s intervention to deliver the nation.
Rev. Utaji assured that the church would not relent in praying for atonement and Mercy for Nigeria and Vengeance upon enemies of the nation.
