Determined to retain power come Nov 16, the APC running mate to GYB , Chief Edward Onoja on Sunday inaugurated 7 campaign Committees at Okpo, headquarters of his home Local Government Area.
Headed by a former Council Chairman , Gabriel Yunusa Olofu, Chief Onoja charged members of the Campaigns committee not to leave any stone unturned in making sure that the local government Area remains for APC.
Onoja who was full of confidence of the party’s chance in the election, however tasked them to go from house to house without intimidation or violence, but to convince the people on why they should continue to vote for the party.
The Chairman , Media Committee, Williams Ameh who spoke on the need for violence free election, enjoined members to make sure that their respective wards are delivered to APC.
He cautioned members against thuggery and hate speech, but to dwell on Issue-based during the Campaigns .
Reports say , similar Campaigns structure is being inaugurated in all the local government areas across Kogi State by the party.
