Regardless of what he described as the “noise” about his leadership, Governor Yahaya Bello has rekindled his optimism that he would record a land slide victory in Kogi gubernatorial Election come Nov 16, 2019.
“Iam the Governor today and Insha Allah, I will return as the Governor for another 4 years after Nov 16 Election.
As for the ticket, the analogy is that the tenant cannot send the land lord out of his house “.
Gov. Yahaya Bello was defending his leadership, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Friday.
“In November governorship election, we are not just talking of winning, we are looking at the margin. The margin is going to be such that whoever comes far second, will be discouraged to go to Court.
“APC in Kogi was built by me after the good job done by our late leader, His Excellency, Prince Abubakar Audu.
“After his demise, I came to rebuild it from the scratch to what it is today,” GYB explained.
According to him, his efforts at rebuilding the party was evident in the last election where the party won the entire 25 seats in the House of Assembly.
“We also won 7 out of 9 contested positions in the House of Representatives and 2 out of the 3 Senators representing the State in the Senate “.
The Governor who described himself as very popular said those opposing him were mere noise makers, adding anybody that is making such noise does not disturb me because in the market, noise is allowed.
“You know in Kogi, politics is the loudest, so people must make noise and you can’t stop that. But surely Iam very good with my party from the local to the national level.
“They know that Iam the leader of the party in my State. I have built it and it is very strong .Any time any day we will win election in land slide.
“Iam going to win in the primaries by the grace of God, by which ever means, direct or indirect “. Yahaya Bello Vowed.
