As the ruling APC is coasting to victory in Kaduna State, the main opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has threatened to reject Saturday’s gubernatorial and Houses of Assembly Election results due to some alleged irregularities by the ruling party.
The irregularities allegedly perpetrated by the APC in some Local Government Areas include, non -usage of Card readers, snatching and stuffing of ballot boxes, vote buying, intimidation and harassment by security agents.
The PDP State Chairman, Hassan Hyat told newsmen in Kaduna on Sunday that most of these electoral frauds were committed in the presence of security agents.
He said it was regrettable that security personnel whose responsibility was to ensure that the game was played according to the rules, compromised and acted contrary.
Hyat also alleged forceful change of results by electoral officers after they had been summoned to Kaduna Government House.
The PDP State Chairman, said the party has evidence to proof the allegations.
Hyat thanked the people of the State for given the PDP their mandate and the peaceful conduct of the elections.
