Nigeria’s Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday witnessed massive turnout of voters in Kaduna, Northwest of the country.
However, the exercise in most polling stations was characterized by late arrival of Officials and voting materials
Regardless of these shortcomings, voters were determined to wait to perform the franchise.
Former Vice President, Namadi Sambo who enthusiastically cast his vote commended the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
He urged the people to maintain the cordiality for the benefit of all.
Governor Nasir El-rufa’i who joined a queue like any other Voter, cast his vote at Ungwar Sarki at about 1.20pm expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election and the prevailing peaceful atmosphere.
Addressing voters at Kawo LEA Primary school while on monitoring, State Police Commissioner, Ahmed Abdulrahman and AIG Karma urged the electorate to maintain the Peaceful atmosphere being witnessed.
