UNICEF Trains Programme Coordinators On Resource Management In Gombe, Nigeria

United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Bauchi field office has begun training of its programme coordinators in Gombe State, North-East of the Country.

Monitoring and Evaluation officer UNICEF Bauchi field office, Dr. Danjuma Al- Mustaph, told news men in Gombe on Tuesday that the training was to improve the coordinators’ managerial skills and service to humanity.

The training will also equip the participants with the best way to utilise the limited resources at their disposal .

“The training will equip our programme coordinators in the areas of Health, Nutrition, Water and Sanitation and Education on how to fulfil the right of humanity, we want our programme coordinators to have a differ understand on how best to achieve better results.

In a remark, the Gombe state Coordinator, Nutrition State Primary Health Care, Malam Suleiman Mamman described the training as timely.

He urged the participants to put what they would learn into practice to achieve the desired results.
