A political pressure group, Kaduna Patriotic Front, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the Chairmanship of Com. Adams Oshiomhole for keeping to their promise to reward loyal Senators.
“By this ,we are now happy and assured that Sen. Shehu Sani will be the party’s flag bearer during the general elections for Kaduna central senatorial zone in 2019.”
A statement by the President and Gen. Secretary of the group, Muhammadu Isaq and Luka Bodams which disclosed this, noted with delight that under the leadership of Adams Oshiomhole, the APC has regained its amiable place in the hearts of all patriotic Nigerians.
“We have witnessed a sustained demonstration of maturity and a great sense of good leadership in the management of the party.
“This decision of the party to reward loyal Senators, we believe, will boost party loyalty and be a great compensation for those who stood by the party and the president during their time of trials.
We wish to also congratulate Sen Shehu Sani who has shown to us what quality representation is all about.
“We cannot forget how against all odds, persecutions and intimidation, and unnecessary distractions, Sen Shehu Sani stood firm and gave the people of Kaduna Central quality representation at the red chamber. We hope that the impending Return of Sen Shehu Sani to the Senate will afford him the opportunity do even better in the next dispensation.
