Nigeria: Eid-El-Kabir: Dankwambo Calls For Peaceful Politicking Towards 2019

Gombe State Governor and PDP Presidential Aspirant in Nigeria, Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo, has urged politicians across the country to put the interest of the country above any other consideration by conducting themselves peacefully ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Dankwambo made the appeal in Gombe, North East of the country shortly after observing the Eid prayers at the township Eid praying ground.

Dankwambo particularly called on politicians to conduct themselves orderly for peace and development of the State and the country in general .

While commending the people of the State for the peaceful coexistence despite their different religious and ethnic backgrounds, Dankwambo also called on them to continue to pray for a  hitch free electioneering  campaigns towards the general elections.

Earlier , the Chief Imam of Gombe, Sheikh Mohammed Pindiga, after leading the two raka’at prayers called on Muslims to adhere to the teachings of Islam,  especially as it regards animal sacrifice and sharing with the less privileged in the society.

And at  his palace, the Emir of Gombe ,Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, called on Muslims and the entire people of the State to continue to support Government in its efforts in creating an enable environment for peace and development of the State.

AFRICA PRIME NEWS Correspondent reports that a colourful durbar was held in the Palace to the admiration of Governor Dankwambo and other dignitaries from within and outside  the  State.
