Nigeria Police Arrests Arm Robbery Gang Leader In Kano

The Kano State Police Command, Northwest of the country has arrested a leader of a notorious armed robbery gang who was allegedly involved in robbing some houses at Sheka Quaters, Kano .

A statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday by the Command’s spokesperson, SP. Magaji Musa Majia said  the suspect, Mujahid Suleman and his gang members who are also residents of that area made away with a Toyota vibe vehicle, money and other valuables worth about N3.9 million.

According to him, On 19th June, 2018 at about 0030hrs, the suspect led three of his gang members – Rabiu Sama’ila, Al-Amir SNU, and Uwardawa Abo, armed with cutlasses and knives and stormed three houses located at same Sheka Qtrs where they beat and injured residents and made away with the items.

“The suspect at hand confessed to the crime and mentioned one Abdul-Aziz SNU now at large as the person who fed them with tips on the houses they attacked.

“Team of investigation officers are assiduously working to arrest the fleeing suspects and all their accomplices; recover the exhibit and charge them to Court for prosecution,” the statement added.
