Nigeria: Traditional Ruler Commiserates With Subjects Over Windstorm Disasters

The Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman has commiserated with the people of the state over the heavy rainstorm and fire incident at the Azare market.

In a statement signed by the JNI Secretary General Ahmad Yakubu Jumba of Jamatu Nasr’l Islam, to which the traditional ruler is the Vice President General, appealed  to all well meaning  Nigerians and agencies to come to the aid of the victims.

The Emir prayed Allah to forgive the deceased and replace the loss.

He reminded Muslims in particular, of the need to remain God-fearing and law abiding.

On Saturday, a devastated heavy rainstorm hit Bauchi town destroying properties worth millions of naira with loss of lives as well as a fire incident at Azare market Sunday night.
