He said N8 billion has been set aside by his administration for the take off of newly established state-owned university which will be located in Talata Mafara for which approval has been granted by the National Universities Commission.

“With the university’s implementation committee working tirelessly, it is hoped  that the university will admit its first set of students in the 2018/2019 academic session”, he said.

Yari said state government has expended over N15 billion on education development within the last seven years under his leadership.
