Project One Productions Coordinator, Bisayo Busari Akinnadeju has urged Nigerians to be more Resilient, Patriotic and United to ensure that the Democratic system of governance becomes stronger.
In a good will message to mark the Day Akinnadeju said while congratulating Nigerians on the 19th Anniversary of an uninterrupted Democratic transitions, Project One Productions lends its voice to the yearnings of Nigerians for the continued preservation and protection of constitutional institutions and democracy
The Coordinator also advised the current Administration to ensure good governance, more transparency and accountability.
“Almost 20years after Nigeria transition to the 4th Republic, to the current administration, to whom much is given, much is required. The populace you govern clamoured for a change and brought you to power, democracy is the government for the people, you must at all times listen to the people you lead and provide seasoned leadership especially to the youths and the coming leaders,” the Coordinator advised.
Commenting on President Muhammadu Buhari’s declaration that he would soon sign into law the “Not Too Young to Run” Bill, the Akinnadeju says the NGO finds the President’s policy statement highly commendable and urges young Nigerians to ensure they key into it and ensure its full implementation.
“To the Nigerian youths, we say one is only young once, our nation will be built on the strength, courage, good judgement and dedication of its citizens,”
On the recently concluded IAMANIGERIAN Conference held on the 25th of May 2018 , the Coordinator says Project one lauds the support of INEC at the conference where almost 200 participants were registered for their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
Akinnadeju calls on all Nigerians to register and get their PVCs as the 2019 elections approaches.
Project one, the Coordinator added, also expresses its profound gratitude to all the media for their support before and after the conference while calling for more support in promoting its activities.
