Gombe State North East Nigeria Loses Commissioner

Gombe State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice northeast Nigeria, Abdulhameed Ibrahim is dead. Aged 58 years.

Personal Assistant to the Late Commissioner, Auwal Kala said in Gombe that the deceased died on Tuesday in India where he went for a medical check up

Before his appointment as the state attorney general and commissioner for justice in 2011, Late Ibrahim had worked in both private and public sectors.

He was a one time Legal Secretary, Savannah Sugar Company in Adamawa State, Chairman Akko Local Government Area of Gombe state, as well as Deputy Director Administration, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.

The deceased was survived by two wives and 10 children.
