Nigeria Police Parades Two Suspects With Fake N22.5 Million In Gombe

Gombe State Police Command northeast of the country, has arrested two suspects found in possession of 22.5 million naira fake currencies.

Parading the suspects before journalists in Gombe on Friday, the State Police Commissioner, Mr. Shina Olukolu, said the suspects, Sani Ibrahim aka Orji of Gasol local government area of Taraba State was arrested in Billiri during stop and search operation by the Federal Special Anti-robbery Squad (FSARS), while Ya’u Bello of Hammadu Kafi quarters Gombe was arrested in the state capital.

Olukolu said that, the police also received a credible information from the public which led to the recovery of fourteen suspected stolen motorcycles around  Bojude axis.

The Commissioner of Police cautioned business community to be aware of whom they transact  business with especially in the markets.

He reiterated the command’s determination towards checking crimes and criminal activities in the state.

On the recent police recruitment exercise, Police Commissioner Shina called on the screened successful candidates to check their names in the three designated centres and attend the examination on 25ft of May 2018.
