One person killed and three others injured at Saturday’s Local Government Congress of All Progressives Congress in Deba town, Headquarters of Yamaltu/Deba Local Government Area of Gombe state
The state Police Command, Public Relations Officer, DSP. Mary Malum who confirmed the incident, said two persons have been arrested by the police in connection with the incident.
She said that the local government congress was however peaceful except the fracas involving party youth in the local government area and that the police were investigating the matter.
An eyewitness Sani Deba, said the deceased whose name was given as Salihu Dage was killed as a result of the fighting after voting had ended .
