Gombe State stakeholders of All Progressives Congress APC, North East of the country, has expressed dismay over the performance of the Ward Congress Committee sent to the state.
At a news briefing, leader of the aggrieved Stakeholders and Minority leader of the Gombe state House of Assembly, Ahmed Usman Fada described the committee as a failure, disgrace and an agent of disunity within the APC family in the state.
He said there was no appearance of ward electoral officers at the 114 wards of Gombe state at the election centers as well as non appearance of local organising committee at the local government level which strongly indicate that the committee has failed in its assignment.
“This non-appearance can be verified through security agents, INEC officials and the media men present at the ward election centers across the state”.
Ahmed Nafada therefore called on the National Convention Committee of the party to disregard any attempt to present the result of the 114 wards of Gombe state by the electoral committee.
