Police Gun Down Most Brutal Gang Leader In Akwa Ibom, South-South Nigeria

Wednesday April 18th 2018 was the end of the road for a dreaded gang leader in Etim Ekpo and Ukanafun Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State, South-South Nigeria, Isaac, alias Stainless who was gunned down by the police.

The brutal gang leader ,according to the police, surfaced on a revenge mission  after the death of another notorious gang leader, Akaninyene, a.k.a ISO AKPAFID in January this year, maiming, kidnapping, raping, issuing threat letters and burning houses as part of his criminal activities.

The Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State, Adeyemi Samuel Ogunjemilusi who displayed the corpse of the dreaded gang leader  told newsmen in Uyo that the police who were  disturbed by that ugly development had to restrategise and mounted massive operations against the criminals resulting in the killing of alias Stainless.

The police Boss said the killing of this gang leader has brought to an end the reign of terror of ISO Akpafid and members of his gang in the two local government areas.

He therefore advised those who fled their  areas to return adding that their safety is guaranteed.

CP Ogunjemilusi who assured adequate of security in Ikot Ekpene, Eket and other parts of the State however warned against cult activities in institutions of learning.

He disclosed that many cultists were already behind the bar while others are being prosecuted.

The CP attributed the upsurge in criminal activities to cultism and warned that police were fully ready to fish them out saying that there is no  hiding place for them in the state.

He commended the efforts of security agencies in the State as well as members of the public through whose commitment  the feat was recorded.
