The death has occurred of  Aboki Abiyi Fadason, the First District Head of Kujama in Chikun Local Government Area  of Kaduna State, Northwest of the country.

Aboki  Fadason died at age 82 after a brief illness. He is survived by many children, amongst them, Andrew Fadason, former Editor of New Nigerian Weekly and a one-time chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kaduna State Council.

He has been buried according to Christian rites.

A one-time Board Member of Kaduna State Media Corporation, (KSMC) Late

Fadason was an educationist and administrator.

He was the Secretary General of Northern States Teachers Union and President of the Southern Zaria Community Club, now known as Southern Kaduna Peoples Union, SOKAPU.

In a statement, the family thanked sympathizers for their condolences and messages, especially the Sa Gbagyi I, His Royal Highness, Umar Barde, the Emir of Zazzau, Shehu Idris, the Chairperson of Chikun Local Government, Traditional Rulers and title holders.
