Nigeria: APC Gubernatorial Aspirant In Gombe Advices Supporters To Shun Violence

Gombe (Nigeria) – All Progressive Congress Gubernatorial Aspirant in Gombe State and former Minister of Transport, Senator Abdullahi Idris Umar has advised his supporters to avoid political violence.
.
He said the advise was necessary so as to guide against polarising the State or heat the polity.

Senator Umar was speaking on Tuesday at the official launching of his 2019 gubernatorial campaign machinery in Gombe , northeast of the country.

He also charged members of his campaign  committee to live above board and put the interest of the State above any other interest.

Senator Umar told them that the movement which is tagged ‘Project 2019’, is a project of hope which will ensure an all inclusive governance, unity and progress of the State.

He said the main duty of the committee was to come up with a template that will capture the yearnings and aspirations of the people of the State.

Responding, Chairman of the State Coordinating Committee, Malam Ibrahim Abdullahi Zamfara promised to meticulously work towards the success of the team and expressed confidence that God will grant them success at all stages of the movement.
